St. Louis County Periodontics is proud to present Daniel G. Pompa, D.D.S. - an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, an ADA consultant, and a Seminar Series Speaker.

A crisis situation can - and likely will - occur at some time in your practice. This presentation will teach you and your team members how to respond to a life-threatening crisis in your office or anywhere. Dr. Pompa will discuss prevention, preparation, recognition, and management of medical emergencies in an interactive, high-energy presentation described by attendees as "highly informative," "engaging," and "exceptional." A step-by-step medical approach using basic physical diagnostic methods is reviewed, giving the attendee a clear understanding of these findings.

The indications for emergency drug use, along with the appropriate dosages, will be reviewed. Dr. Pompa will distribute and teach you to use color-coded instructional cards depicting each emergency and the suggested treatment for that emergency through a clear plan to follow. With guidelines and principles that will broaden your situational awareness, both surgically and medically, participants will gain understanding and confidence - ultimately improving patient outcomes.
